An act to authorise the Trustees of Primary School Dis-
trict number seventy-two, in Fredericktown, to sell and
convey part of the lot in Fredericktown, late the proper-
ty of William Ely, deceased, purchased by said Trus-
tees for a Primary School House.

WHEREAS, it is represented, that the lot of ground pur-
chased by the trustees of primary school district number
seventy-two, in Frederick, is unnecessarily large for the
purposes of a primary school;
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William C. Smallwood, David Boyd and
Lawrence J. Brengle, or a majority of them, trustees of
primary school district number seventy-two, in Frederick
town, be and they are hereby authorised to sell and convey
so much of said lot as they may deem unnecessary for the
purpose of a primary school house, and apply the proceeds
thereof, after paying for said lot, to the purpose of a pri-
mary school house.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said William C.
Smallwood, David Boyd and Lawrence Brengle, be and
they are hereby appointed and confirmed as trustees at
aforesaid, until superseded by a new appointment of trus-
tees.
