Chap.

Sec.

MILITIA.

If return be not made before or on the

last Monday of December, 1841, to the

Adjutant General, he shall certify the same

to the Governor; the commission of officer

to be thenceforth revoked,

If after the passage of this act, in each

and every year, any return shall not been

received by Adjutant General for 2 months

after due, to certify the fact to the Gover-

nor, who shall thereupon revoke commis-

sion; if officers fail to make return in con-

sequence of neglect of any officers to make

reports to said officers, as existing acts of

Assembly require, or for want of officers

to be in commission, such officers to report

the fact to the Adjutant General, who shall

certify the same to the Governor, which

shall be deemed a compliance with the

provisions of this act, &c.
