RESOLUTIONS.
the Senate or House of Delegates, at the close of this ses-
sion, be, and the same are hereby adjourned and referred
to the consideration of the respective branches of the Le-
gislature in which such bills, petitions or other business
may be pending; and that all such bills, petitions and other
business shall be considered and determined by the Legis-
lature at its next meeting, in the same manner as if the
next meeting of the Legislature was a mere continuation
of this session.

Resolutions nominating John Van Lear as State's Agent.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
John Van Lear, Esquire, of Washington county, be, and
he is hereby appointed agent to vote the stock of this State
in all joint stock companies in which the State has an in-
terest, in the place of William Cost Johnson, Esquire, who
has declined the appointment.
Resolved, That the President of the Senate and the Speak-
er of the House of Delegates address a joint letter to the said
John Van Lear, informing him of his appointment.
