CHAPTER 213.
An act for the benefit of John Busk and Harriet Josephine
Busk, his Wife, of the City of Baltimore.

WHEREAS, by the last will and testament of James Pow-
er, of the city of Baltimore, (father of the said Harriet)
dated the ninth day of July, eighteen hundred and twenty-
five, certain property on Pratt street, in said city, was de-
vised to John Walsh, in trust for the said Harriet for life,
with remainder to her children by her then husband
Charles W. Strider; and whereas, it is represented to the
Legislature that it would be for the benefit and advantage
of all parties interested that a sale should be made of said
property, and the proceeds invested to the same uses de-
clared in the will, or that an exchange in whole or in part,
should be made upon the same trusts — therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall and may be lawful for the said John Walsh,
trustee as aforesaid, to make sale of said property upon
such terms as may be prescribed by Baltimore county court,
and invest the proceeds of said sale under the direction of

said court, in other real property, upon the same trusts de-
clared in the will of the said James Power, or to exchange
the same, in part or in whole, for other real property, upon

the same trusts declared in said will; provided, that such
sale or exchange shall be first reported by said John Walsh
to Baltimore county court, and be by said court ratified and
confirmed.

Company,

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
that Charles M. Thruston and Thomas I. McKaig, of Alle-
gany County, are the owners of a large body of land, lying
on Jennings' Run, about equidistant from the towns of
Frostburg and Cumberland, in Allegany County, contain-
ing extensive beds of Coal and Iron ore; and that the trade
and the business of the great works of internal improve-
ments of the State, will be greatly promoted by the open
