ing fields or other facilities for the use of any type of aircraft,
or for any right or interest granted therein or thereon, or may
authorize an officer, board, body, commission or other agency
of such village, city, town, or county having jurisdiction to
establish such fees or charges.

(f) The local authorities of a city, village, town or county
to which this sub-title is applicable having power to appro-
priate money therein may annually appropriate and cause to
be raised by taxation in such city, village, town, or county, a
sum sufficient to carry out the provisions of this sub-title.

(g) (Bonds. ) Any municipality as hereinbefore defined by
this Article, and having general taxing powers within its juris-
diction shall be and is hereby authorized to issue bonds in
such amounts and at such rate of interest and with such serial
maturity as the governing body thereof may, by suitable resolu-
tion, order or ordinance, determine and use the proceeds from
the sale of said bonds for the purpose of acquisition of sites
and the construction, enlargement, alterations, or improve-
ments of airports or buildings or permanent improvements
thereon and access roads thereto. Any bonds so issued under
the authorization of this Article shall be secured by the full
faith and credit of the municipality issuing the said bonds as
to the principal and interest thereof. In the issuance of any
such bonds the municipality issuing the same shall make
suitable provision for levying annually a general tax upon all
the assessable property subject to tax within the jurisdiction
of the municipality issuing the same for the payment of the
principal of said bonds and the interest thereon as the same
may become due and payable. All Acts or parts of Acts,
whether general or local, conflicting in any way with the pro-
visions of this Article, including Article 31 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland or any amendments thereto shall be and
the same are hereby repealed, so far as the issuance of bonds
for the construction of airports is concerned, provided that
110 municipality shall issue bonds hereunder in an amount
which together with the aggregate amount of all other actual
bonded indebtedness of said municipality shall exceed 10%
of the total assessed valuation of the properties located within
said municipality.

(h) The powers conferred upon cities, villages, towns and
County Commissioners by Section 13 (a) to (g), inclusive,
shall include acquisition of property, including air rights or
interests, for an airport, landing field or other facilities for
the use of any type of aircraft to be maintained by any com-
mon carrier or carriers of passengers or freight by air; and
when any such city, village, town or Board of County Com-
missioners has contracted with any such common carrier to
