The commissioners hereafter elected may make such altera-
tions in said limits as they may deem advisable, and cause
the same to be surveyed and the boundaries thereof to be
established, and the record thereof to be filed amongst the
records of the corporation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of the passage.

(House Bill 567)
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners of
Worcester County to issue and sell serial bonds upon the
faith and credit of said county to an amount not exceeding
One and One-half Million Dollars ($1, 500, 000) for the pur-
pose of building new schoolhouses, acquiring sites for school-
houses, the construction of additions to existing school-
houses, or repairing the same and for equipping such new
or existing schoolhouses, or for matching Federal funds
for the above purposes; and authorizing the Board of Coun-
ty Commissioners of Worcester County to levy taxes on the
assessable property in said county to provide funds for the
payment of interest and to pay the principal of said bonds
as they mature and become payable.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That whenever the Board of Education of Worcester
County shall think it advisable to build and equip new school-
houses, or construct an addition or additions to existing
schoolhouses, and equip the same, or to repair existing school-
houses, or to purchase sites for schoolhouses, or to match
Federal funds for any of the aforesaid purposes, it may by
resolution request the Board of County Commissioners of
Worcester County to issue bonds upon the full faith and
credit of said County and to pay for the same. Said resolu-
tion shall set forth in general terms the project or projects for
which funds are desired and the approximate cost of the same,
