SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 129A-129M, inclusive, of Article 12 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Garrett County", sub-title "Deep Creek Lake Sanitary Com-
mission", as enacted by Chapter 673 of the Acts of 1947, be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the funds presently
in the Treasury of the Deep Creek Lake Sanitary Commission
shall be turned over to the County Commissioners of Garrett
County, who shall earmark it for the acquisition of garbage
dumps and garbage disposal sites throughout the Deep Creek
Lake Area. Said area includes all of the waters and all of
the underlying lands of Deep Creek Lake, lying in Election
Districts 1, 6, 7, 10 and 14 in Garrett County, together with
all lands within an area of 1, 000 feet from the high water
mark of said Lake in said election districts, except land and
buildings used exclusively for farm purposes. The dumps,
or sites acquired under this Act shall be equitably spread
throughout the Deep Creek Lake Area.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

(House Bill 534)

AN ACT relating to the Board of Education of Anne Arundel
County; authorizing and empowering said Board, from time
to time, to borrow money in order to finance the construc-
tion, improvement or extension of public schools as herein
defined, and to effect such borrowing by the issuance and
sale to the highest bidder or bidders at public sale of its
bonds upon its full faith and credit and upon the full faith
and credit of the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County, subject to the limitation that the total debt which
may be incurred hereunder shall not exceed Three Million,
Five Hundred Thousand Dollars (|3, 500, 000. 00) in the
aggregate; empowering said Board to fix and determine, by
resolution, the form, tenor, interest rate or method of
arriving at the same, terms, including redemption and
registration provisions, conditions, maturities, and all other
details incident or necessary to the issuance, public sale
and delivery of said bonds, without reference to any other
