Class A, Off Sale Licenses, in Harford County, and relating
to the hours of sale of alcoholic beverages in said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 11 (f) and 86 of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),, title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-titles "Beer and Light Wine Licenses", and
"Hours and Days for Sale", respectively, be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, all to read
as follows:

11.

(f) (Harford County. ) In Harford County the annual fee
for such a license shall be Seventy-five Dollars ($75. 00), and
licenses shall be issued by the Liquor Control Board of said
County.

86. HARFORD COUNTY. In Harford County, notwithstand-
ing any other provision of this sub-title, licensees under this
Article shall only sell, offer for sale, or dispense the beverages
defined in. this Article, between the hours of 8 o'clock A. M.
and 1 o'clock A. M. on week days and shall not sell such
beverages during any other hours or at any time on Sundays.
Nor shall said licensee conduct nor permit dancing on Sun-
days. No beer or light wine shall be permitted to be drunk
on the premises of a licensee after fifteen (15) minutes follow-
ing the closing hours prescribed in this section.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
