824 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 340

1. The citizens of the area within the boundaries herein-
after described, in Prince George's County, Maryland, be,
and they are hereby created a body corporate by the name of
Town of Landover Hills, and by said name shall have per-
petual succession, sue and be sued, have and use a common
seal, and purchase, hold, use, lease and dispose of real, per-
sonal, and leased property for the benefit of the town.

2. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows,
except that any Referendum Area hereinafter established
which shall cast a majority of votes against annexation shall
be excluded therefrom: Beginning at a point in the southerly
line of the Annapolis Road at its intersection with the west-
erly line of the Ardwick-Ardmore Road; thence in a south-
easterly direction along the westerly line of the Ardwick-
Ardmore Road to its intersection with the northerly line of
the right of way of the Pennsylvania Railroad; thence in a
southwesterly direction along the northerly line of the right
of way of the Pennsylvania Railroad to its intersection with
the extension of the southwesterly line of Lot 1, Block "Z",
of the subdivision known as "Section 6, Landover Hills", as
per plat thereof recorded among the Land Records of Prince
George's County in Plat Book B. B. 9, folio 68; thence in a
straight line to the westernmost point of Parcel "A", Block
"S", of the subdivision known as "Section 4, Landover Hills",
as per plat thereof recorded among the said Land Records in
Plat Book B. B,. 8, folio 41; thence following the westerly
boundaries of said subdivision and of the subdivisions known
as "Section 3, Landover Hills", and "Section 5, Landover
Hills", as per plats thereof recorded, respectively, among the
said Land Records in Plat Book B. B. 8, folio 34, and Plat
Book B. B. 8, folio 47, to the southerly line of the Annapolis
Road; thence in a westerly direction along the southerly line
of the Annapolis Road to its intersection with the extension
of the westerly line of 68th Avenue (shown on plat as Buch-
anan Street) in the subdivision known as "Section 1, Defense
Heights", as per plat thereof recorded among the said Land
Records in Plat Book B. B. 10, folio 45; thence in a northerly
direction along said line, as so extended, to the southernmost
point of Lot 3, Block O, of the subdivision known as "Parts
of Blocks G. H. £ O., Section One, Defense Heights", as per
plat thereof recorded among the said Land Records in Plat
Book B. B. 10, folio 78; thence in a northerly direction fol-
lowing the westerly line of said subdivision to the southerly
line of Greenvale Parkway; thence in an easterly direction
along the southerly line of Greenvale Parkway to a point due
south of a stone in the easterly line of said subdivision
marked "Stone, SLE No. 6"; thence due north to said stone;
