which the Council shall provide, the names, addresses, and
election precincts of all persons whose names shall appear
on the lists certified by the Boards of Election Supervisors
under the provisions of the next succeeding section. In the
event that the Council shall establish more than one polling
place, it shall by ordinance provide for the separation by
districts of the cards bearing the names of the voters, and
for furnishing the said cards for each district so established
to the judges and clerks at the respective polling places.

The candidate receiving the largest number of votes for
Mayor shall be declared elected. The candidate receiving
the largest and the candidate receiving the next largest
number of votes for Councilmen from the Fourth and Twen-
tieth Precincts of the Thirteenth Election District of Mont-
gomery County and the candidate receiving the largest
and the candidate receiving the next largest number of
votes for Councilmen from the Sixth and Twenty-first Pre-
cincts of the Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery
County and the candidate receiving the largest number of
votes for Councilman from the Ninth and Twenty-second
Precincts of the Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery
County and the candidate receiving the largest and the
candidate receiving the next largest number of votes for
Councilmen from that portion of Prince George's County
within the boundaries of the City shall be declared elected.

(B) The Mayor and City Council of Takoma Park are
authorized and empowered to purchase, rent, lease or other-
wise acquire such number of voting machines as may be re-
quired to equip with voting machines the polling place or
places within said City and to use and employ such machines
so acquired at all municipal elections.

(C) The Mayor and Council may by ordinance provide that
the method of conducting an election or referendum shall
be by means of voting machines or by means of paper ballots,
and in the event voting machines are used that the manner
of conducting such election or referendum shall be the same
as nearly as practicable as that used in Montgomery County,
or that used in Prince George's County in the event that voting
machines shall be used or employed in that County; except,
however, that in any election held or conducted in Takoma
Park the names of all candidates for office shall appear upon
the voting machine or ballot without party designation.

(D) All voting machines used in any general or special
election in Takoma Park shall remain locked and sealed
thereafter for a period of twenty days next succeeding such
election, after which time such machines may be unsealed and
