CHAPTER 72
(Senate Bill 41)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 93
of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", providing that magistrates
for juvenile causes and clerks of the courts having jurisdic-
tion in juvenile causes shall report the convictions of per-
sons in said courts for a violation of said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 93 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Administration—Registration—Titling", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
93. (Courts to Forward Report of Convictions. ) Every
Clerk of the Court, Clerk of the Court having jurisdiction in
juvenile causes, Magistrate for Juvenile Causes, Trial Magis-
trate and Justice of the Peace having jurisdiction over
offenses committed under this Article, or any other Act of
this State regulating the operation of motor vehicles on high-
ways, shall forward to the Department a record of the convic-
tion of any person in said Court, Magistrate for Juvenile
Causes, Trial Magistrate or before such Justice of the Peace,
for a violation of any of said laws, and any Judge, Magistrate
for Juvenile Causes, Trial Magistrate and Justice of the
Peace may recommend the suspension of the operator's or
chauffeur's license of the person so convicted.
SEC. 2. And lie it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

bury a sum or sums of money not exceeding Twenty-five
