any person convicted of such violation shall be fined not
less than Ten Dollars ($10. 00) nor more than Fifty Dollars
($50. 00) and may be sentenced to thirty (30) days in jail,
either, or both, in the discretion of the Court or Justice of
the Peace before whom said person shall be tried, and in
addition to said fine, shall be fined Five Dollars ($5. 00) for
each and every wild bird, wild animal, or fish illegally killed
or found in possession. A copy of any regulations adopted
by the Commission shall be mailed to the Clerk of the Circuit
Court who shall make a record thereof and cause the same
to be posted in front of the Court House of the County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 201
(Senate Bill 59)

AN ACT to repeal Sub-sections (a), (e) and (f) of Section
83 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish",
sub-title "Deer", and to enact in lieu thereof three new
sub-sections to be known as Sub-sections (a), (e) and (f);
and to add two new sub-sections to said Section 83 of said
Article 99, said new sub-sections to be known as Sub-
sections (g) and (h) and to follow immediately after Sub-
section (f) of said section, relating to the hunting and
killing of deer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-sections (a), (e) and (f) of Section 83 of
Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment), title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-title
"Deer", be and they are hereby repealed, and that three new
sub-sections to be known as Sub-sections (a), (e) and (f), be
and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof; and that two
new sub-sections be and they are hereby added to said Section
83 of said Article 99, said new sub-sections to be known as
Sub-sections (g) and (h) and to follow immediately after
Sub-section (f) of said section, and all to read as follows:

83. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, pur-
sue, kill, or have in possession, any deer within the State of
