MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS No. 5

The following appropriation is made from the General Funds of
the State:

1 GENERAL EMERGENCY FUND: To the Board of
Public Works to be used by said Board in supple-
menting appropriations made in the budgets for
the fiscal year 1950 where it is found that the
regular appropriations are insufficient for the
operating expenses of the Government beyond those
which were contemplated at the time of the appro-
priation of the budgets for this fiscal year, or for
any other contingencies which might arise during
the fiscal year for which adequate provision has
not been made in this budget..................... $500,000,00

MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS No. 7

The following appropriation is made from the General Funds of
the State:

1 SPECIAL CONTINGENT FUND: To the Board of
Public Works, to be used to supplement appropria-
tions for maintenance of institutions in cases where
construction authorized, if completed, will increase
the number of persons to be taken care of in such
institutions ...................................... $250,000.00

MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS No. 8

1 To the Board of Public Works, to be allocated by said
Board to supplement the salary budgets of Crowns-
ville State Hospital, Eastern Shore State Hospital,
Rosewood State Training School, Springfield State
Hospital and Spring Grove State Hospital, in the
amounts determined necessary to establish the ap-
proved gross salary scales to become effective July
1, 1949:
