collected as now prescribed or hereafter required by law; and
the treasurer of said town is charged with the custody of
any moneys received from the sale of said bonds, certificates
of indebtedness as above mentioned, and with the prompt
collection and safe keeping of the moneys arising from as-
sessments upon roadbeds, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and
street improvements, which last said funds shall be kept as a
separate account and fund, and no part thereof shall ever be
used for any other purpose than to liquidate the bonds or
certificates of indebtedness, and interest thereon, issued for
sidewalks, curbs, gutters, roadbeds, and street improvements,
Which bonds and certificates when paid, shall be cancelled
and kept and filed among the papers of said town.

SEC. 24. The Board of County Commissioners of Prince
George's County shall pay or cause to be paid annually to the
Mayor and Town Council of Forest Heights, three-fourths of
the full amount of the road and bridge tax levied and col-
lected each fiscal year from property taxed for such purposes
within the limits of the corporation as created by this Act.
Any portion of said three-fourths of said road and bridge tax
collected 'by said County Commissioners after the fiscal year
for which the same was levied, shall be accounted for and
paid over to the said Mayor and Town Council of Forest
Heights from time to time in the year in which the same
shall be collected; said road and bridge tax shall be refunded
and paid for the first fiscal year of incorporation, and for
each fiscal year thereafter, also any other taxes or appropria-
tions to which the Mayor and Town Council are lawfully en-
titled, and any special tax or appropriation now or hereafter
made, distributed or apportioned by the State Roads Com-
mission or any other agency which may in the future have
authority to distribute gasoline tax funds or any other funds
for the construction, maintenance, improvements and lighting
of said streets, alleys, roads, and public places, shall pay to
the Mayor and Town Council of Forest Heights its share of
said funds, in the same manner and in the same proportion
as is paid. to other incorporated towns in Prince George's
County, Maryland. Said funds shall be apportioned as
nearly as possible to the several wards in proportion to the
assessed value of the real property in said wards.

SEC. 25. The Mayor and Town Council shall have power
to levy between January 1st and March 31st of each year,
the tax year commencing on the first day of January, a tax
not to exceed fifty cents of each $100. 00 assessed value of all
real property within the town based upon the County assess-
ments. The fiscal year shall be the calendar year but the
