the Supervisor or Supervisors belonging to the political party
entitled to be represented by such judge or clerk shall name
three eligible persons from whom the other Supervisor or
Supervisors shall select such judge or clerk.
6A. (a) In Baltimore City judges of election may be sworn
in by any member of the Board of Supervisors of Elections,
any registrar, or any assistant registrar.
(b) The Board shall have power to summon judges of elec-
tion and to require their appearance before them; and to
administer oaths and take testimony from such judges.
8. In the City of Baltimore, in the year 1946, and there-
after, the Board of Supervisors of Elections shall have power,
in their discretion, to fix the compensation of judges of elec-
tions at not more than Twenty Dollars a day for each election
day and at not more than Fifteen Dollars a day for each re-
vision or supplementary registration day, which compensation
shall be paid by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.
The Board of Supervisors of Elections of the various counties
of the State, within the amounts authorized by the County
Commissioners of each County, shall have power to fix the
compensation of judges and clerks of election or registration,
which compensation shall be paid by the respective County
Commissioners of each County, and shall not be less than
Seven Dollars per day, nor more than Twenty Dollars per
day for each day actually served.
25A. On the second Monday in July in the year 1950, and
in every second year thereafter, there shall be a supplemental
registration in each precinct in the City of Baltimore, from
two o'clock P. M. to ten o'clock P. M. on every such day. Such
registration days shall be for the registration of persons who
are not then registered voters of the city, and shall b£ con-
ducted as in this Article specified for registrations in the
City of Baltimore.
26. (a) In Baltimore City, at the time of registration, a
card, with the name and address of the voter inserted, and
certifying to the ward and precinct in which such voter is
registered, shall be signed by one of the members of the
Board of Registry and the voter, and such card shall be prima
facie evidence that such voter has been properly registered.
If any person is found to have registered more than once, the
additional registration forms shall be cancelled by the Board.
The Board shall have the authority to issue duplicate voters'
identification cards, to be stamped "Duplicate" and not to
require the signature of any member of the Board.
