AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
4 (a), 4 (b), 6 and 8 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title
"Election Officials", and to add Section 6A to said Article
. and sub-title, said new section to follow immediately after
Section 6; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 26 and 27 of said Article 33, sub-title "Registration",
and to add Sections 25A, 28A and 34 (d) to said sub-title,
said new sections to follow respectively after Sections 25,
28 and 34 (c) thereof; to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 53 of said Article, sub-title "Nominations
and Primaries"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 68 of said Article 33, sub-title "Elections", and to
add Section 73A to said sub-title, said new section to follow
immediately after Section 73 thereof, relating generally to
the Board of Election Supervisors of Baltimore City and
its employees, to provide for supplementary registration in
Baltimore City and to the conduct of elections in said City
and the payment of filing fees.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 4 (a), 4 (b), 6 and 8 of Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elec-
tions", sub-title "Election Officials", be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that Section
6A be and it is hereby added to said Article and sub-title, to
follow immediately after Section 6; that Sections 26 and 27
of said Article 33, sub-title "Registration", be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that
Sections 25A, 28A and 34 (d) be and they are hereby added
to said sub-title, to follow respectively after Sections 25, 28
and 34 (c) thereof; that Section 53 of said Article, sub-title
"Nominations and Primaries", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments; that Section 68 of said
Article 33, sub-title "Elections", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, and that Section 73A be
and it is hereby added to said sub-title, to follow immediately
after Section 73 thereof, and all to read as follows:

counties and of Baltimore City shall have power to appoint
