97A. Any person who—
(1) shall have been a teacher in the public schools of this
State for an aggregate period of twenty-five (25) years or
more prior to June 1, 1927, and who, in the case of Fred-
erick and Caroline Counties, shall have been a teacher for
a period of twenty (20) years or more prior to June 1, 1927;
and who, in the case of Washington County, shall have been
a teacher or a clerk, or both, whether at the same time or at
different times, for a period of twenty-five years or more,
prior to June 1, 1927; and who
(2) shall be ineligible for a pension under this sub-title;
and who
(3) shall be at least sixty (60) years of age; and
(4) whose record as such teacher shall be without re-
proach; and who
(5) shall be unable to teach school because of physical
disability or infirmity shall receive a pension of Seven Hun-
dred and Twenty Dollars ($720. 00) per annum, payable
quarterly, from the County Commissioners of the county in
which the teacher has taught. Provision for the payment of
said pensions shall be made in the next annual tax levy and
in all future tax levies of said counties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-sec-
tions (a) and (c) of Section 445 of Article 43 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Health",
sub-title "Chiropractic", relating to scholastic require-
ments for applicants to the Board of Chiropractic Ex-
aminers.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-sections (a) and (c) of Section 445 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
