nection of Plant", as the case may be, then this sub-title
shall be of full force and effect; but if an affirmative vote
of two-thirds (2/3) of the qualified voters aforesaid shall
be "Against Sale of Plant", "Against Lease of Plant" or
"Against Connection of Plant", as the case may be, then
this sub-title shall be void and of no effect, and the said
Town Commissioners shall not sell, lease or connect said
municipal system, and any contract in the premises shall
become null and void and of no effect.

CHESTERFIELD CEMETERY DEPARTMENT

108. (Department. ) There shall be a department of the
Town known as "Chesterfield Cemetery", the head of which
shall be the Superintendent of Chesterfield Cemetery, who
shall be appointed by the Town Commissioners and hold such
office at their pleasure.

109. (Powers. ) The Town Commissioners, through the
Chesterfield Cemetery Department shall have full power and
control over the Chesterfield Cemetery, as it now exists in the
Town, and shall have the following additional powers, to wit:

(1) To regulate or prohibit the internment of bodies and
to authorize the removal of bodies now or hereafter buried.

(2) To provide schedules of rates for the annual and per-
petual upkeep and care of the burial lots in said cemetery.

(3) To establish a schedule of rates for the opening and
closing of graves in any lots of said cemetery.

(4) To provide for the collection of charges for upkeep
and care by prohibiting the opening of graves until any and
all delinquent charges have been paid in full.

(5) To acquire by purchase, lease, gift, devise or by con-
demnation in the manner prescribed in Article 33A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, such additional land as the
Town Commissioners may deem necessary to add to the said
Chesterfield Cemetery for the internment of bodies.

110. (Revenues. ) The yearly revenue and receipts of the
Chesterfield Cemetery shall be kept separate and apart from
the other funds of said Town, and the same shall be expended
in the following order:

(1) To pay the yearly operating expenses of the Cemetery.

(2) To pay the interest on and the redemption of all bonds
falling due in such year, which from time to time have been
