Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County, "
sub-title "Circuit Court, " be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

68. There shall be two other and intermediate terms
of each of said courts, to which jurors shall not be sum-
moned, to be held at the several places mentioned, and at
the following times; for Calvert County, on the second
Monday of July and the first Monday of February; for
St. Mary's County, on the first Monday of June and De-
cember; for Prince George's County, on the third Monday
of January and June, and for Charles County, on the third
• Monday of February and July in each year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

CHAPTER 105
(Senate Bill 219)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 29 (b) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title
"Registration", eliminating the provision fixing the
compensation of a member of the Permanent Board of
Registry in Washington County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 29 (b) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-
title "Registration"', be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

29.

(b) For the purpose of enabling persons to register
in this manner in the said counties mentioned in Section
20 of this Article, the clerks of the Boards of Supervisors
of Elections in each of said counties and one person in each
of said counties who shall be appointed by the Governor
in the same manner and on the same terms and conditions
as the supervisors of Elections are appointed and who
shall belong to the other leading political party from that
to which the clerk to the Board of Supervisors shall belong
shall constitute a Permanent Board of Registry for said
