for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed upon by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take, effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 102
(Senate Bill 200)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
Kent County", sub-title "Circuit Court", to be under
sub-heading "Kent County Bar Library", said new see-
to be known as Section 131A and to follow immediately
after Section 131 of said Article, relating to the levy
annually of a sum of money for the maintenance and sup-
port of the Kent County Bar Library.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 15
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Kent County", sub-title "Circuit Court", to
be under sub-heading "Kent County Bar Library", said
new section to be known as Section 131 A, to follow im-
mediately after Section 131 of said Article and to read as
follows:

131A. The County Commissioners of Kent County are
hereby authorized and directed to levy annually the sum
of six hundred ($600. 00) dollars for the support and main-
tenance of the Kent County Bar Library, the said sum to
be paid to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said County
and to be expended under the direction of the Judge or
Judges of said Court for the aforementioned Bar Library.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.
