114 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 95

WHEREAS, Section 238 of Article 93 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (1947 Supplement), prescribes the sal-
aries of judges of the Orphans' Courts throughout the
State, thereby making this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 294 of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County1',
sub-title "Orphans' Court", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

Approved March 31, 1949.

CHAPTER 94

(Senate Bill 172)

AN ACT to repeal Section 157 and 158 of Article 15 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), "Kent County", sub-title "Crier", said sections
relating to the appointment of a janitor for the Court
House.

WHEREAS, the County Commissioners have ample author-
ity in regard to this matter; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 157 and 158 of Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent
County", sub-title "Crier", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

Approved March 31, 1949.
