General Laws of Maryland, title "Appeals and Errors, "
sub-title "Appeals from Justices of the Peace, " (as said
Section 93 was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 20 of
the Acts of 1943) be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
93. Any party aggrieved thereby may appeal from any
judgment of a Justice of the Peace to the Circuit Court
for the county, or the Baltimore City Court, as the case
may be, at any time within thirty days from the
rendition of such judgment; and the court to which such
appeal is taken shall hear the case de novo and determine
the same according to law, and the equity and right of the
matter; and this section shall be construed to include all
actions of debt for the collection of fines, penalties and
forfeitures imposed by any law of the State or by any
ordinance of any incorporated city or town of the State,
and which are made recoverable before a Justice of the
Peace, in which a right of appeal may not be given by the
law imposing the same.
97. If the summons shall be returned "summoned, " the
case shall stand for trial de novo, without regard to terms
of court, at such date as the parties may agree upon, and
where the parties cannot agree, the court shall fix the date
for trial thereof; provided always that the court shall have
full control over the assignment of such cases for trial.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1945.

CHAPTER 765.
(Senate Bill 377)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Anno-
tated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Chancery, " sub-title "Trustee, " said new
section to be known as Section 279 A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 279 of said Article; such new sec-
tion to authorize fiduciaries to register -stocks, bonds
or other corporate securities held by them in a fiduciary
capacity in the name of a nominee.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section, to be known as Section 279A and to
