CHAPTER 107.

(Senate Bill 153)

AN ACT to repeal Section 146 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Election Districts, " relat-
ing to the transfer of names of certain registered voters.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 146 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County, "
sub-title "Election Districts, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved February 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 108.
(Senate Bill 154)

AN ACT to repeal Section 143 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Election Districts, " relat-
ing to dividing Election District Number 18 into
precincts.

WHEREAS, the general Election Laws authorize the
Supervisors of Elections to divide election districts into
precincts, thereby rendering this section unnecessary;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 143 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County, "
sub-title "Election Districts, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
