vision of its chief engineer, showing the proposed water,
sewerage or drainage systems, one copy of which plat shall
be filed in the office of the Commission, one in the office
of the County Commissioners and one in a plat book indexed
"Howard County Metropolitan Commission", in the office
where the land records of Howard County are kept; and
upon the filing of said plat and the approval of said locality by
the County Commissioners of said County and the said Metro-
politan Commission, such district shown on said plat shall be,
and the same is hereby designated and constituted for the pur-
poses of this Act to be a separate sub-district, and shall be
given by the Commission a distinctive name and shall be sub-
ject to all the provisions of this Act, and the filing of said plat
shall constitute legal notice to the public of such action of said
Commission. That for the purpose of providing for the or-
ganization and/preliminary expenses of any newly constituted
sub-district, the County Commissioners shall furnish said Com-
mission with a sum not exceeding Five Thousand Dollars
($5, 000. 00) which shall be repaid out of the first bond issue
of the particular district, if any.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8
of Chapter 991 of the Acts of 1943, relating to the bonds of
the Howard County Metropolitan Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 8 of Chapter 991 of the Acts of 1943, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, \with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

8. That for the purpose of paying the interest and principal
of the bonds issued by said Commission as in this Act provided
for the water supply, sewerage or drainage systems to be con-
structed, purchased or established under this Act, the said Coin-
mission is hereby empowered to establish a proper and reason-
able charge for connection with said water supply, sewerage
and drainage system so to be constructed, purchased or estab-
