the Constitutional Amendment" and "Against the Consti-
tutional Amendment, " as now provided by law, and imme-
diately after said election due returns shall be made to the
Governor of the vote for and against the said proposed
amendment, as directed by said Fourteenth Article of the
Constitution, and further proceedings had in accordance
with said Article Fourteen.

CHAPTER 530.
(Senate Bill 344)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
85 of Article 65 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Militia, " sub-title "War Memorial
Commission, " providing that all members of the War
Memorial Commission hereafter appointed shall be
Maryland War Veterans.
SECTION 1, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 85 of Article 65 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Militia, " sub-title "War
Memorial Commission, " be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
85. A War Memorial Commission consisting of ten
(10) members is hereby created and the Governor of the
State of Maryland is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to appoint five (5) members of said Commission,
and the Mayor of the City of Baltimore is hereby author-
ized, directed and empowered to appoint five (5) mem-
bers of the said Commission. All members appointed
after June 1, 1945, shall be Maryland War Veterans.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
