Chief Machinist, sixty-two dollars ($62. 00) per week;

Machinists, forty-two dollars and fifty cents ($42. 50) each
per week for the first year, forty-seven dollars and fifty cents
($47. 50) each per week for the second year and fifty-two dol-
lars ($52. 00) each per week for the third year and thereafter;

Machinist, Radio Division, sixty-two dollars ($62. 00) per
week;

Printer, forty-two dollars and fifty cents ($42. 50) each per
week for the first year, forty-seven dollars and fifty cents
($47. 50) each per week for the second year and fifty-two dol-
lars ($52. 00) each per week for the third year and thereafter;

Traffic Engineer, four thousand five hundred dollars
($4, 500. 00) per annum;

Investigators, Traffic Bureau, forty-two dollars and fifty
cents ($42. 50) each per week for the first year, forty-seven dol-
lars and fifty cents ($47. 50) each per week for the second year
and fifty-two dollars ($52. 00) each per week for the third year
and thereafter;

Draftsman, Traffic Bureau, two thousand four hundred dol-
lars ($2, 400. 00) per annum;

Clerk, Traffic Bureau, forty-two dollars and fifty cents
($42. 50) each per week for the first year, forty-seven dollars
and fifty cents ($47. 50) each per week for the second year and
fifty-two dollars ($52. 00) each per week for the third year and
thereafter;

Supervisor, Taxicab Bureau, three thousand five hundred
dollars ($3, 500. 00) per annum;

Telephone and Signal Operators, sixty-two dollars ($62. 00)
each per week;

Hostlers, two thousand three hundred dollars ($2, 300. 00)
each per annum.

The compensation and salaries herein provided shall be paid
at such time or times as the Police Commissioner of Baltimore
City shall determine unless otherwise specifically provided by
law.

SEC. 1A. And be it further enacted, That Section 897 of
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and
Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore
City", sub-title "Police Examiners", be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and
they are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1946.
