said deed.

(5) The provisions of Sub-sections (2), (3) and (4) shall
not apply to Baltimore City.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 201 to 205,
inclusive, of Article 2, Sections 156 to 158, inclusive, of Article
3, Section 108A of Article 5, as enacted by Chapter 414 of the
Acts of 1939, Section 108 of Article 6, Section 42 of Article 7,
as amended by Chapter 178 of the Acts of 1943, Section
132 of Article 8, as amended by Chapter 161 of the Acts
of 1937, Section 88A of Article 9, as enacted by Chapter 215
of the Acts of 1935, Section 203 of Article 10, as amended
by Chapter 649 of the Acts of 1939? Section 99 of Article 11,
Section 89 of Article 12, Sections 242 to 245A, inclusive, of
Article 13, as amended by Chapter 22 of the Acts of 1939, Sec-
tion 72 of Article 14, Section 151A of Article 15, as enacted by
Chapter 297 of the Acts of 1939, Section 320 of Article 17, Sec-
tion 192 of Article 18, as amended by Chapter 104 of the Acts
of 1935, Section 57 of Article 19, Section 39 of Article 20, as
amended by Chapter 475 of the Acts of 1937, Section 154 of
Article 22, Sections 30 and 31 of Article 23, as amended by
Chapter 70 of the Acts of 1935, all of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), and Chapter 110 of the Acts
of 1931, be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (Seventh) of Section 32 of Article 11 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Ed. ), title "Banks
and Trust Companies, " sub-title "Banks, " and Sub-sec-
tion (Eleventh) of Section 58 of said Article, sub-title
"Trust Companies, " relating to deposit of securities for
the purpose of securing deposits of funds of the State
of Maryland in the hands of its departments or agencies.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
