of the State of Maryland, political sub-divisions thereof
and the City of Baltimore to come within the provisions
of the Act; to add a new sub-section to Section 13 of
said Article, sub-title "Unemployment Compensation
Administration Fund, " said new sub-section to be known
as sub-section (c) of Section 13, sub-heading "Special
Administrative Expense Fund, " and to follow immedi-
ately after sub-section (b) of Section 13 of said Article,
providing for the payment of interest, fines and penal-
ties to said fund; to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, sub-section (f) of Section 19 of said Article,
sub-title "Definitions, " so as to cover employers of one
or more persons.

SECTION!. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (b) (1) of Section 3 of Article 95A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supp. ), title "Unem-
ployment Compensation, " sub-title "Benefits, " sub-heading
"Weekly Benefit Amount, " be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments; that sub-section
(c) of Section 3 of said Article, sub-title "Benefits, " sub-
heading "Duration of Benefits, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; that sub-sec-
tions (c) and (d) of Section 4 of said Article, sub-title
"Benefit Eligibility Conditions, " be and the same are here-
by repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; that sub-
section (c) (3) of Section 7 of said Article, sub-title "Con-
tributions, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments; that Section 8 of said Article,
sub-title "Period, Election and Termination of Employer's
Coverage, " be and the same is hereby repealed and a new
Section 8 enacted in lieu thereof; that a new sub-section
be and it is hereby added to Section 13 of said Article,
sub-title "Unemployment Compensation Administration
Fund, " said new sub-section to be known as sub-section
(c) of Section 13, sub-heading "Special Administrative
Expense Fund, " and to follow immediately after sub-sec-
tion (b) of Section 13 of said Article; that sub-section (f)
of Section 19 of said Article, sub-title "Definitions, " be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and all to read as follows:

BENEFITS

3. (b) (1) Weekly Benefit Amount.

An individual's "weekly benefit amount" shall be the
same amount appearing in Column B in the table in this
sub-section on the line on which, in Column A of such table,
there appear the total wages paid to such individual for
