at Princess Anne for additions to and extension of utilities
and equipment; quarters for staff and employees; dormitory
for men; dining hall and kitchen building; greenhouse and
head house; barns; athletic field and stands; laundry build-
ing and equipment; library building; additions, alterations
and improvements to present buildings and equipment; nec-
essary equipment for new buildings.
(25) Department of Budget and Procurement for remodel-
ing State Tobacco Warehouse for offices and warehouse for
Department of Budget and Procurement and necessary equip-
ment.
(26) Department of Maryland State Police for headquar-
ters building and training school at Pikesville; barracks
buildings at Waldorf, Cumberland and Frederick; necessary
equipment for new buildings.
. (27) State Department of Health for acquisition of sites,
the construction and equipping of three (3) chronic disease
hospitals.
(28) State Department of Health for acquisition of the
site; for the construction of laboratory building, office build-
ing and garage and equipment for same; additions, altera-
tions and improvements to present buildings and equipment.
(29) Military Department for Improvements to armories
throughout the State; armory for Charles County; naval mi-
litia armory; necessary equipment for new buildings.
(30) Board of Public Works for aid to political sub-
divisions of the State construction of airports.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Board of Pub-
lic Works is hereby authorized and directed to approve pay-
ment for all expenses incident to the preparation of plans
and specifications for the above projects and for the cost of
construction of the same out of funds made available from
the sale of bonds for the purposes authorized by the 1945 ses-
sion of the General Assembly and other funds made available
to the Board of Public Works in the State Budget.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the Board of Pub-
lic Works is hereby authorized and directed to approve ex-
penditures in connection with projects listed herein of any
funds received as grants from the United States Government
in connection with the program herein provided.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
