Court shall sign an order directing that the entire record in
such case shall, at the expense of the State, be certified to the
Court of Appeals by the clerk of the Court where such case is
tried, and the Court of Appeals shall review any reviewable
errors therein, without regard to technical errors, defects or
exceptions which do not affect the substantial rights of the
parties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 1069.

(House Bill 844)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 75,
76 and 77 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Black
Bass", Sections 75 and 76 having been amended by Chapter
169 of the Acts of 1945, changing the sub-title to "Black
Bass and Pike", relating to the season for taking pike, the
size of pike which may be taken and the number of black
bass or pike which may be taken in any one day.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 75, 76 and 77 of Article 39 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fish-
eries", sub-title "Black Bass", Sections 75 and 76 having been
amended by Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1945, be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

75. It shall be unlawful to catch black bass or pike in any
manner in the tidal waters of the State of Maryland during
the months of April, May and June in each and every year. It
shall also be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
sell or offer to sell, purchase or offer to purchase or to have
in possession any black bass or pike during said months,
whether said fish be caught in tidal or non-tidal waters within
the State of Maryland, or the waters of any other State and
brought into this State.

76 It shall be unlawful for any person to deliver to any
private or common carrier for transportation, or for any pri-
vate or common carrier to accept for transportation, or for any
