submitting the annual report by the State Industrial Acci-
dent Commission.

WHEREAS, the statistical data as to the number of awards
made, the causes of accidents, etc., are given on the calendar
basis; and

WHEREAS, it is impossible to submit the report on January
1st, giving the data for the preceding year; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 13 of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Workmen's Compensa-
tion", sub-title "State Industrial Accident Commission", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

13. Annually on or before the first day of March,
the Chairman of the State Industrial Accident Commission
shall make a report to the Governor, which shall include a
statement of the number of awards made by it, the causes of
the accidents leading to the injuries for which the awards were
made, and a detailed statement of the expenses of the Commis-
sion, together with any other matters which he deems proper
to report to the Governor, including any recommendations he
may desire to make.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
