to require another Justice of the Peace to perform the
duties at said station-house, of the said Justice of the Peace
so sick or absent; and it shall be the duty of the said Jus-
tice of the so required to perform said duties at said station-
house, to perform the same as long as may be necessary,
or until the Governor shall select another Justice to per-
form said duties; the Justice of the Peace so required to
perform said duties at said station-house by the Governor,
shall receive ten dollars per day for every day he shall
actually serve at such station-house; which pay shall be
deducted form the pay provided to be paid to the Justice
selected to sit at such station-house and failing to attend;
provided, that said pay of the said Justice who may sit
in the absence of the Justice so selected to sit at any station-
house, shall not be deducted from the pay of the said last-
named Justice, if the Governor shall certify that such ab-
sence was by reason of his necessary attendance upon any
court or Justice of the Peace of said State, under its pro-
cess, nor when such absence shall not exceed thirty days
in the course of any one year, and when the Governor shall
certify that such last-named absence, not exceeding thirty
days, as aforesaid, was occasioned by sickness or other
unavoidable cause.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

(Senate Bill 521)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Sections
370, 371, 373, 374 and 375 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Juvenile Court, " and to
add seven new sections to said Article, to be known
as Sections 370A,, 370B, 373A, 374A, 374AA, 374AAA
and 374B, and to follow immediately after Sections 370,
373 and 374, respectively, revising generally the entire
sub-title.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 370, 371, 373, 374 and 375 of Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Juvenile Court, " be and
