next ensuing General Election shall be for the Members of the
General Assembly then the places of voting in such Senatorial
Election shall be at the places of voting for Delegates of the
General Assembly; provided, further, with respect to all elec
tions of United States Senators both for full terms and to
fill vacancies for unexpired portions of terms, every person
qualified to vote for Members of the House of Delegates shall
be qualified and entitled to vote for United States Senators.
And the State Board of Canvassers shall meet within thirty
days after every such Senatorial Election for the purpose of
canvassing the votes therein cast, as hereinbefore in this Ar-
ticle provided.
115. Elections of Representatives of this State in the Con-
gress of the United States shall be held on the Tuesday next
after the first Monday in the month of November every two
years commencing in the year 1946 and taking place every
second year thereafter. If a vacancy should occur by death,
resignation or otherwise, at such a period as to make it neces-
sary that a Representative or Representatives in Congress from
this State should be chosen before the regular time for such
election, the Governor shall by proclamation direct that a spe-
cial election be held to fill such vacancy, which proclamation
shall require at least twenty days' notice of such election, to
be given by the Supervisors of Elections to the sheriffs of the
respective counties, comprising the congressional district in
which such vacancy may exist.
116. This State shall be divided into six districts for the
choosing of six representatives in the Congress of the United
States, which will be numbered respectively from one to six.
117. The First Congressional District shall be composed of
Worcester County, Somerset County, Wicomico County, Dor-
chester County, Talbot County, Queen Anne's County, Caro-
line County, Kent County and Cecil County, and shall be en-
titled to choose one Representative in the House of Repre-
sentatives.
118. The Second Congressional District shall be composed
of the Fifteenth, Sixteenth, Twenty-sixth, Twenty-seventh,
Twenty-eighth Wards, and the First, Second, Third, Fourth,
Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Precincts of the Twenty-fifth
Ward of Baltimore City, as presently laid out, of Harford
County, Carroll County and Baltimore County, and shall be
entitled to choose one Representative in the House of Repre-
sentatives.
119. The Third Congressional District shall be composed of
the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth
