1376 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 916

(E) That not less than ten (10) days (including Sundays
and holidays) before such election said Board of Election
Supervisors appointed by this section or their successors, shall
post in five (5) public places, within the limits of said town,,
a notice notifying the residents of said town that there shall
be held, on the day between the hours named in Paragraph A
of this section, an election to determine whether or not said
residents of said town desire to incorporate and adopt this
Charter. Said notice shall also specify the place where such
election shall be conducted. Said Board of Election Super-
visors may select any place or places within the limits of said
town.

(F) That said Board of Election Supervisors shall provide
booths, ballot boxes and ballots. The ballots which shall be
printed shall contain the words "For Incorporation" on one
line, with a blank square opposite at the right on the same
line, and the words "Against Incorporation" on another liner
with a blank square opposite at the right of line; and all
qualified voters desiring to vote for incorporation and the
adoption of this Charter place a cross mark (X) in the square
opposite the words "For Incorporation", and all qualified voters
desiring to vote against Incorporation and against the adop-
tion of this Charter shall place a cross mark (X) in the square
opposite the words "Against Incorporation".

(G) That every citizen of the United States who shall have
attained the age of twenty-one (21) years, and who resides
within the limits of the proposed town shall be eligible to vote
at such election upon taking and subscribing, before a member
of the Board of Election Supervisors (each of which said
members of said Board are hereby authorized to administer
oaths for this purpose), an oath as follows: "I..............

do hereby solemnly swear that I am a citizen of the United
States, and that I have been a resident of the proposed Town
of Morningside, Maryland, for a period of six (6) months.

Subscribed and sworn to before me this........ day of

............ 19.....

Member of Board of Election
Supervisors. "

No person who shall fail or refuse to take and subscribe
such oath shall be eligible to vote at such election, and any
person who swears to anything that is false, in taking and
subscribing such oath, shall be guilty of the crime of perjury
and subject to the penalties provided by the law of the State
of Maryland.
