1350 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 910

on Lot No. 3, Block No. 28, Section No. 7, University Park to
the northernmost corner of Lot No. 3, thence southeasterly
binding on Blocks Nos. 28 and 26 of Section No. 7 and Section
No. 6A, University Park to Queen's Chapel Road, thence south-
westerly along Queen's Chapel Road to the northernmost cor-
ner of Queen's Chapel Road and Wells Parkway East, thence
northwesterly along Wells Parkway East to Beech Road,
thence southwesterly across Beech Road to Wells Parkway
West, thence southerly along Wells Parkway West to Toledo
Road and thence southwesterly along Toledo Road to the be-
ginning.

The fifth ward shall consist of that portion of land contained
in the area bounded as follows:

Beginning on the Northwest side of Queen's Chapel Road
where the same is intersected by the northern boundary of
Block 26, Section 6A, University Park, thence northeasterly
along the northwest side of Queen's Chapel Road to the west
side of Washington-Baltimore Boulevard, thence northerly
along the west side of Washington-Baltimore Boulevard to the
northern boundary of Block E of the sub-division known as
College Heights thence westerly along the northern boundary
of said Block E, College Heights to the northwest corner of
Lot 52, Block E, thence southwesterly still along the boundary
of Block E to the northwest corner of Lot 44, Block E, thence
southeasterly, still along the boundary of Block E to the south-
west corner of Lot 15, Block E, and thence easterly along the
southern boundary of Block E, College Heights, which is the
northern boundary of Block 26, Section 6A, University Park,
to the northwest side of Queen's Chapel Road, the place of
beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 1362 and
1380 of said Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

1362. The officers of said town shall consist of a Mayor,
five Councilmen, and Treasurer, the Mayor and Treasurer
to be elected by the combined vote of the said town, and
the Councilmen to be elected by their respective wards, and
such appointive officers as are hereinafter designated, or shall
be appointed by the Mayor and Common Council, and each
officer appointed shall continue to hold office for such terms
as the Mayor and Common Council shall designate, or until
his successor is duly qualified. Before entering upon the
duties of his office, each officer shall take oath that he will dili-
gently and faithfully discharge, all duties of his office without
favor, partiality or prejudice, and said oath shall be filed
among the records of said town.
