the House of Correction, or jail, or both fined and imprisoned.
SEC, 2. And be it further enacted, That should any section,
or part of a section of this Act be held to be invalid for any
reason, such holding shall not be construed as affecting the
validity of any remaining section or part of a section of this
Act, it being the legislative intent that the remainder of this
Act shall stand, notwithstanding the invalidity of such sec-
tion or part of a section.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1360 and 1361 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition—being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Prince George's County", sub-title "University Park",
and to enact in lieu thereof two new sections to be known as
Sections 1360 and 1361 of said Article, and to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Sections 1362 and 1380 of said
Article, relating to the boundaries, number of wards, num-
ber of councilmen and the borrowing of money and taxation
for re-payment thereof by the Town of University Park in
Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 1360 and 1361 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition—being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "University Park", be and they are
hereby repealed and that two new sections be and they are
hereby enacted in lieu thereof, said new sections to be known
as Sections 1360 and 1361 of said Article, and to read as fol-
lows:
1360. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows:
Beginning for the same at a point in the center of the County
road 30 feet wide leading from Bladensburg to Colesville, said
point being South 65 degrees 21 minutes East 17. 86 feet from
an old stone on the West side of said road at the end of the
