228. An act to amend the Code of Public Local Laws of
Caroline county, relating to schools, by adding thereto the
following sections.
229. An act to amend the 8th article of the Code of Public
Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sections, giving
to the President and Commissioners of the village of Port
Deposit, power to pave the streets, and borrow money on the
credit of the corporation.
230. An act to authorize Juliana Hall, of Harford county,
to convey two lots of ground to St. John's Church, in Havre
de Grace.
231. An act to extend the time of Seth W. Warfield, for-
mer sheriff and collector of Howard county, for collecting the
taxes placed in his hands for collection, and for collecting the
fees of his office.
232. An act entitled, an act to add a new article to the
Code of Public Local Laws for St. Mary's, Calvert, Howard,
Kent, Baltimore, Worcester, Somerset, Talbot, Queen Anne's,
Prince George's and Charles counties, entitled, an act to ap-
point a board of Commissioners for the better control and
management of the free colored population of said counties.
233. An act entitled, an act to amend the 3d article of the
Public Local Laws, by adding a section authorizing the sale
or lease of a portion of the almshouse property belonging to
Baltimore county.
234. An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment
of the claims of Daniel Caulk, James E. Tate and James
Hopkins.
235. An act entitled, an act for the relief of the illegitimate
children of Isaac Henry and Elizabeth Williams, of Dorches-
ter county.
236. An act to provide for printing and indexing the Code.
237. An act entitled, an act to authorise the Comptroller
to adjust the accounts of Henry M. Langley, collector of State
taxes for the first election district of St. Mary's county for the
year 1851, and to allow as credits on the same all sums of
money for which the State's Attorney has receipted.
