AN ACT to add the following section, relating to
public schools, article eighty-three of the Code
of Public General Laws.
|

Donation for
schools.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, is hereby directed to pay
to the school or county commissioners of each of
the following named counties the sum of four hun-
dred dollars, to be applied by said commissioners
to the public school fund of the respective counties,
the same being in addition to the sums now re-
ceived by said counties for school purposes, to wit:
Allegany county, Baltimore county, Carroll county,
Calvert county, Cecil county, Caroline county,
Charles county, St. Mary's county, Harford coun-
ty, Howard county, Prince George's county, Queen
Anne's county, Somerset county, Talbot county,
Worcester county, and Washington county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That James W. Isaac, George Yel-
lott, William D. Conn, Frederick Schumacher,
Henry Clay Dallam, Louis D. Sweeney, William
H. Schumacher, William H. Myers and Adolphus
P. Fitch, or their assigns and successors, shall be
