may be paid, shall render quarterly to the Comp-
troller, accounts of the expenditure thereof, with the
proper vouchers thereof, verified by affidavits, ex-
cepting such part as may be disbursed out of the
executive contingent fund, upon the order of the
Governor, or such further part thereof as may be
paid for, or on account of salaries fixed by the
Constitution and Laws of this State.

AN ACT to authorise Edward Tenant and Morris
O. Colston to keep a gate on a public road in
Talbot county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Edward Tenant and Morris O.
Colston, be and they are hereby authorised to keep
a gate at the terminus of a public road, generally
known as the ferry road, leading from the main road
through ferry neck to Oxford ferry, in Talbot coun-
ty.

AN ACT to incorporate the Baltimore Marine In-
surance Company.

Objects of
corporation.
|
ARTICLE 1. This corporation shall be called and
named the Baltimore Marine Insurance Company,
and it shall be located in the city and county of Bal-
timore, its purpose and business shall be by instru-
ment, under seal or otherwise, to make insurance
