ed to create
new election
district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That George W. Kildon, John S.
Combs and Thomas F. White, of Allegany county,
or a majority of them, be, and they are hereby ap-
pointed commissioners, and authorised to review
election districts number four and five in said coun-
ty, and in their discretion make such alteration and
division, and create an additional election district,
so as to better subserve the convenience of the vo-
ters of said districts; but said commissioners shall
not locate the southern line of said new district south
of William Shaw's Mill, and the said new election
district shall be known as district number (16) six-
teen, and the place for holding the elections therein
shall be Lonaconing.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commis-
sioners shall make a return of all their proceedings
to the clerk of the Circuit Court of Allegany coun-
ty, to be recorded in the said clerk's office, at the
expense of said county, and paid as county charges
and levies are paid.

Vacancies.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in case of the
death, resignation, removal from the county or re-
fusal to act of any of the commissioners named in
this act, the board of county commissioners shall
fill such vacancy.
