CHAPTER 258.

CHAP. 259.

AN ACT to authorise the Comptroller to draw a
warrant upon the Treasurer for four hundred and
thirty dollars and thirty cents, due David C.
Blackiston, administrator of William H. Black-
iston, deceased, for overpayment made to Edward
A. Moore, deceased, former State's attorney for
Kent county, on State tax of eighteen hundred
forty-five.

9, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be authorised
and required to draw a warrant upon the Treasurer
of the State, for four hundred and thirty dollars
and thirty cents, and that the Treasurer be autho-
rised and required to pay the same.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 259.

In force.

A FURTHER SUPPLEMENT to an act entitled
an act to incorporate companies to make several
turnpike roads through Baltimore county, and
for other purposes; to authorise the laying down
and equipment of a railway on the Baltimore
and Yorktown Turnpike road, between Balti-
more city and Towsontown, and the collection of
tolls thereon.

9, 1860.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the president, managers and
company of the Baltimore and Yorktown Turnpike
road, be and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to lay a track of passenger iron railway
on their said road, with the necessary turnouts,
sidings and other accessaries between the limits of
Baltimore city and Towsontown, and also to pro-
cure the necessary cars and other equipment for
