AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 57 OF THE ACTS OF 1948
(SPECIAL SESSION), be and it is hereby repealed and that
a new Section 1296 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof;
and that Section 1430 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Washington Suburban Sanitary
District", AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 57 OF THE ACTS
OF 1948 (SPECIAL SESSION), be and it is hereby repealed
and that a new Section 1430A be and it is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof, and all to read as follows:
1296 (1430A). On and after July 1st, 1950, the Washing-
ton Suburban Sanitary Commission shall make all

WATER AND SEWER HOUSE
CONNECTIONS FROM THE WATER MAIN OR SEWER
TO THE PROPERTY LINE OF THE ABBUTTING LOT
within the Sanitary District under the provisions of Section
1295 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(191ft Edition) and Section 1430 of the said Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition) and no
plumber shall after said date make any house connections;

AS AGENT OR CONTRACTOR FOR THE SAID
COMMISSION. The Commission shall make such charges for
house connections as it shall deem to be reasonable and may
change the same from time to time, which charges shall be
uniform throughout the Sanitary District, provided, however,
that the Commission may in its discretion IN MAKING ANY
NEW CONNECTION add to said charges so fixed by it the
cost of cutting and repairing any improved street. Any sur-
plus from said house connection charges shall be used for
their maintenance and repair. THE SAID COMMISSION
SHALL MAINTAIN AT ITS OWN EXPENSE INCLUD-
ING THE COST OF CUTTING AND REPAIRING ANY
IMPROVED STREET ALL HOUSE CONNECTIONS HERE-
TOFORE OR HEREAFTER CONSTRUCTED BY IT OR
UNDER ITS SUPERVISION AND FOR THE PURPOSE
OF SAID MAINTENANCE SHALL PROVIDE THE
NECESSARY FUNDS OUT OF THE WATER CONSUMP-
TION RECEIPTS.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts or laws and parts of laws inconsistent herewith or
