the performance of work or lack of industry, application or
progress in vocational or educational training, the person
herein confined shall not only forfeit all gained time in the
month in which such delinquency occurs, but, according to
the aggravated nature or frequency of his offense, the Board
may deduct a portion or all of his gained time for good con-
duct under Sub-section (1) of this section but the deduction
allowed and earned under Sub-section (2) and (3) hereof
shall not be affected thereby.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1950.

CHAPTER 66

(House Bill 6)

AN ACT to add 7 new sections to Article 25 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "County Commis-
sioners", said new sections to be known as Sections 167-173,
of said Article, to follow immediately after Section 166
thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Erosion", author-
izing the County Commissioners of this State to set up
special taxing districts for erosion prevention work and
specifying their powers and duties for these purposes; and
to repeal Sections 559-565., inclusive, of the Code of Anne
Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arun-
del County'7, sub-title "Taxing and Assessment Districts",
said sections relating to the powers of the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County as to erosion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That 7 new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "County Commissioners", said new sections to be known
as Sections 167-173 of said Article, to follow immediately
after Section 166 thereof, to be under the new sub-title
"Erosion", and to read as follows:
