In addition to the State Appropriation of $5,711,585 from General Funds
for the fiscal year 1951, it is estimated that the University of Maryland will
receive from student fees, income from the operations of auxiliary enter-
prises, fees from patients at the University Hospital and Dental Clinic and
other miscellaneous sources, the sum of $8,059,188 in the fiscal year 1951 to
be expended under the direction of the Board of Regents in accordance with
the detailed working budget of the University of Maryland, to be submitted
to the Board of Public Works for its approval, which sum is hereby appro-
priated from the Special Funds of the State. It is the intention that Special
Funds in excess of the amount hereby appropriated shall be made available
to the University of Maryland by approved budget amendment.
