1 to 36, inclusive) and to the Special Types of Care



Hospitals (Nos. 37 to 44, inclusive) are to be dis-



bursed by the Treasury Department (to the respec-



tive institutions) on transmittals from the State De-



partment of Health. Ability of individuals to pay for



care in these institutions shall be determined by



the local Departments of Public Welfare under the



rules established by the State Department of Public



Welfare.



Note: In the event that the Federal Government



makes funds available to the States for hospitaliza-



tion of the indigent, any part of the appropriation



made to Items 1 to 44, inclusive, by the mutual con-



sent of the hospitals and the State Department of



Health, may be used for matching purposes.
