such numbers of temporary Judges of Election as said Boards
may deem necessary to adequately and promptly carry out
the provisions of this sub-title. Each temporary Board of
Registry shall consist of two members, one of whom shall
be registered as a member of the Democratic Party and one
of whom shall be registered as a member of the Republican
Party, and each such Board of Registry is hereby authorized
lo register Absentee Residents entitled under this sub-title
to registration in the manner specified in this sub-title for a
period of fifteen (15) days prior to election day, on election
day, and for such period of time after election day as may be
necessary to complete the registration of Absentee Residents
entitled to register under this sub-title. The temporary
Judges of Elections appointed under this section shall be
divided into groups of four, two of whom shall be registered
as members of the Democratic Party and two of whom shall
be registered as members of the Republican Party, and such
groups are hereby authorized to count and tabulate the ballots
of Absentee Residents cast at any election in the manner and
at the time specified in this sub-title. The ditties of the Boards
of Registry and temporary Judges of Elections provided for
in this section shall at all times be conducted under the
supervision and control of the respective Boards of Super-
visors of Elections, and, in case of any dispute as to either
the registration of an Absentee Resident or the counting of
his ballot in whole or in part, the Board having jurisdiction
shall determine such dispute, but unless such Board of Super-
visors unanimously decides that an Absentee Resident is not
entitled to register, such Absentee Resident shall be regis-
tered, and unless such Board of Supervisors shall unanimously
decide that a ballot of any Absentee Resident shall not be
counted, said ballot shall be counted. Said temporary Boards
of Registry and temporary Election Judges herein provided
for shall with regard to registration and the counting and
tabulation of Absentee Ballots, respectively, have the same
powers conferred on the Boards of Supervisors of Elections
by this sub-title with regard to such matters, except as other-
wise provided in this section. The compensation of the mem-
bers of said temporary Boards of Registry and said tempo-
rary Election Judges shall be the same as that paid Election
Judges in the County or Baltimore City at the same election,
as the case may be, and such compensation shall be paid by
the County Commissioners of the counties, and by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore, respectively.

149. All Absentee Residents, properly registered under
this sub-title, shall, after their registration as in this sub-
title provided, be entitled to vote either under this sub-title
or in person in the same manner and to the same extent as
may persons registering under the sections of this Article
comprising the sub-title "Registration".
