SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
paying the principal and interest on said bonds as they re-
spectively become payable and mature, the County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico County shall levy, for the first year fol-
lowing the date of the issue of said bonds, and annually there-
after until all said bonds shall mature and be paid, a tax
upon all of the assessable property in Wicomico County suffi-
cient to pay the annual interest on said bonds outstanding
from time to time, and to pay the principal of said bonds as
they mature, said taxes to be collected as other taxes levied in
said County are collected. Said tax shall be in addition to
all other taxes authorized or limited by law.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all bonds issued
under the authority of this Act shall be exempt from taxation
by the State of Maryland and by the counties and munici-
palities of said State.
SEC. 7. And, be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 14)
AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 5 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cal-
vert County", sub-title "Licenses", said new section to be
known as Sections 176-177C, inclusive, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 175 of said Article, relating to the
licensing of coin-operated mechanical or electrical amuse-
ment devices or machines in Calvert County and providing
for a referendum thereon at a special election to be held in
said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That five new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-title "Licenses", said
new sections to be known as Sections 176-177C, inclusive, to
follow immediately after Section 175 of said Article, and to
read as follows:
