CHAPTER 84.
(Senate Bill 124)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, "
said new section to be known as Section 195A and to
follow immediately after Section 195 of said Article,
providing additional compensation for the Deputy County
Treasurer of Queen Anne's County during the present
war and for six months after the termination thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-
title "County Treasurer, " said new section to be known
as Section 195A, to follow immediately after Section 195
of said Article, and to read as follows:

195A. In addition to the compensation paid to the
Deputy County Treasurer of Queen Anne's County, under
Section 195 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), there shall be paid to said
Deputy County Treasurer Twenty-five ($25. 00) Dollars
per month, which additional compensation shall be paid
at the same time as the compensation is paid under Sec-
. tion 195, but such additional compensation shall be paid
only during the present war and for a period of six months
after the termination thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition K
