words "For Constitutional Amendment", and "Against Con-
stitutional Amendment", as now provided by law, and im-
mediately after said Election,, due return shall be made to
the Governor of the vote for and against said proposed amend-
ment, as directed by Article XIV of the Constitution, and said
proceedings had in accordance with said Article XIV.

AN ACT legalizing the 1943 Supplement to the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), edited by Horace E.
Flack, and making it evidence of the law.
WHEREAS., the General Assembly, at its Session of 1939,
legalized and made evidence of the law the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), edited by Horace E. Flack; and
WHEREAS,, a Supplement, to be known as the 1943 Supple-
ment to the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), is
now in course of preparation and will include the Public
General Acts of 1941 and 1943; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the 1943 Supplement to the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), edited by Horace E. Flack, be and
the same is hereby legalized, and, in connection with the 1939
Edition of said Code, legalized and made evidence of the law
by the Acts. of 1939, Chapter 418, shall be deemed and taken
in all the courts of the State, and by all the Justices of the
Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State, and by all public
officials of the State, to be evidence of the Public General Laws
of the State contained in the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland of 1888, and the Public General Laws enacted sub-
sequent thereto; provided, that before the said 1943 Supple-
ment is published, the Public General Laws enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland at its Session of 1943 shall be
incorporated therein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
