such additional sum or sums as may be necessary, not
exceeding Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250. 00), per
annum, to cover stenographic and other expenses.

(h) In Washington County, the Board of License. Com-
missioners, consisting of three persons, not more than two
of whom shall belong to the same political party, shall be
appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice of the
Senate, for a term of six years. Each member of the Board
shall be entitled to receive an annual salary of Fifteen
Hundred ($1, 500. 00) Dollars payable monthly from the
license fees derived from the issuance of license fees au-
thorized by 'this Article. No member or employee of the
Board shall have any pecuniary or other interest in any
phase of the manufacture, sale or distribution of any alco-
holic beverages.

(i) In Cecil County the members of the Board of County
Commissioners shall each receive, in addition to their pres-
ent salaries, Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) per annum
for their services in acting as members of the Board of
License Commissioners of said county.

(j) In Dorchester County the members of the Board of
County Commissioners shall each receive, in addition to
their present salaries, One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) per
annum for their services in acting as members of the Board
of License Commissioners of said county.

(k) In Carroll County each of the members of the Board
of County Commissioners shall receive, in addition to their
present salaries, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200. 00) per annum for their services in acting as mem-
bers of the Board of License Commissioners.

(1) In Howard County the Chairman shall receive Three
Hundred Dollars ($300. 00), and each of the other members
of the Board of County Commissioners shall receive, in
addition to their present salaries, the sum of Two Hundred
Dollars ($200. 00) per annum for their services in acting
as members of the Board of License Commissioners.

63A. (Appeals. ) (a, ) Any licensee or applicant for a
license, or any group of not less than ten persons who are
residents or real estate owners in the precinct or voting
district in which the licensed place of business is located
or proposed to foe located, may within ten days from the
date of -any final decision of the said board appeal there-
from to the Circuit Court of the County, upon payment of
all costs incident to the hearing before the said Board.
